The course overall was very good, it gave me a practical hands on training, teaching students from the first day, in a dynamic and profesional fashion . This CELTA left me very well prepared not only for lesson planning and managing my classroom but also provided some very useful tips to ensure I found a teaching position quickly in a good school ( in my case within 5 days) which at the end of the day is the main reason I took the course.

Doing the CELTA course in IH Barcelona was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The course itself was very challenging. But our instructors, Dragan and Liz, were absolutely fantastic and made what could have been a very difficult month, into a very enjoyable one. I probably learned more in a month there, than I did in two years of my undergraduate degree! I would highly recommend doing your CELTA in IH Barcelona. You will learn loads, make lifelong friends and, in the end, have a passport to work in and travel the world!

In my opinion was a fantastic course, all you need in general teaching is there . I had lovely tutors and I could improve in every class/session new methods to implement in my job. So, for me it was very rewarding, thought for the written assignments and as well as challenging . A 10 for the course.

It was very intensive and there was a lot of information to take on board. I feel that the information was useful for planning lessons and a good teaching methodology was presented.

International House in Barcelona is right in the middle of the city centre. It is a beautiful building with plenty of classrooms equipped with the all the necessary technology to support the teaching. There is a cozy cafe with a terrace where you can enjoy any food or beverage, or just relax on the sun during your breaks. The staff is very attentive and they made all the administrative paperwork vey easy to complete. I would definitely highlight my Tutors support and experience. It was a privilege to learn with such professional team!

The staff at International House is friendly and always available to provide any useful information. The opening hours of the school, the library and the internet room are perfect in case you need to use one of the space in your extra time.

My experience taking the CELTA course at IH was very empowering, it gave me the necessary tools to face a classroom well prepared and enough guidance to be effective. It was also very demanding.

I took the CELTA Blended couse. I suffered a bit and I learned a lot. The tutors are professional and supportive. Maybe the course could be a bit longer to have the chance to digest and practise what we learn more thoroughly. I'd do it again.

It has been an amazing experience. Though it has been very stressful due to the course being very intensive it was well worth all those sleepless nights. Yes, they did warn us in advance! Admin staff are fantastic, Erica, Gloria and Judit do everything they can to help. Tutors Roger and Nigel are very good. Roger's life experiences and sharp sense of humour made the time spent at IH Barcelona a great memory. The tutors, the administration and the professionalism of the entire staff made my Delta module 2 at International house the best educational experience, I have ever had. I highly reccommend IH Barcelona to anyone who considers doing their Delta module 2.

The tutors offered incredible support which made for a really great experience. I was very nervous about TP and the tutors made the space to teach in very comfortable and productive. I would highly recommend the program to anyone interested in teaching abroad. Although at times the program was a bit stressful, I feel this may have been necessary to learn the required material. All in all very happy with my experience and Barcelona as a whole.

The course was well organized and it gave me plenty of knowledge and experience for teaching English.

The tutorials were very useful; the teaching practice and being able to see different teaching styles and getting inspiration from the tutors and fellow teachers in training was invaluable! It was fast paced, so you're never bored and you definitely feel you're getting your money's worth. You get help with your CV and support during and after the course when looking for work. A great experience and a valuable certificate to have!

The course was extremely Intensive and I would advise anyone embarking on it to do as I did and cancel life as you know it for a month. Its worth it. The course is professional, thorough and without doubt equips you with the basic skills, tools and confidence necessary to begin teaching English immediately.

It was an extremely well-run course. Although it got prety hectic at the end, I enjoyed it very much. The tutors were extremely efficient and responded to emails very quickly. International House is a great place to take your CELTA course, however you choose to study for it.

I took the 'blended online' CELTA course. A really useful course for both novice teachers and teachers with a few years under their belt without any formal qualifications (my case). The tutors were spot on in their feedback every single time, praising your strengths and highlighting your areas for improvement. The online content was thorough and you still felt supported by the tutors, despite the fact you only met once a week. Hard work was encouraged and the result of your efforts was truly rewarding and it prepared you to become a better teacher.

I was more than satisfied with all aspects of the course and the service offered by IH Barcelona. The CELTA tutors were exceptionally good – well-organised, very clear, and always helpful. The staff at IH was always available for support and clarification when needed. The facilities were good and we had everything we needed (books, computers, printers). I would definitely recommend studying at IH Barcelona and taking the CELTA course in particular.

Great facilities, great location, lots of useful materials. Amazing tutors, really concerned about our learning and real experts in what they teach. I would have liked to have more access to the facilities (especially during weekends, to prepare assignments), and I really think tutors' feedback could have been a bit more strict and directed towards getting a better mark next time. But overall, outstanding course, extremely hard but rewarding. Telling an employer I have the CELTA is like touching the magic button of employability, I have got a well-paid job relatively quick and easily.

The most enjoyable learning experience I've ever had. The tutors were excellent! I couldn't have asked for better, and the course content was superb and very practical. The only thing that was less than perfect was the school building itself, which was a little bit tired: whilst the facilities were fine, the classrooms overlooked a noisy street and had no air conditioning, and we could have done with a more spacious classroom for the number of students we had.

The school has a lovely positive vibe and is in a great location. Unfortunately, the room my classes were in was often unreasonably hot.

It was definitely an intense experience, very satisfying though! I'd have liked to have a bit more time with the tutors, getting more personalized feedback. Overall, it was great.

I am totally pleased with my CELTA experience at I.H. Barcelona. On a professional level, I have had well-prepeared and super accessible tutors who have taught me a lot. I believe the CELTA course offered by IH Barcelona is certainly the best. I have been an IH student for many years; first as an English student; later on I studied the ELE course and on the 22nd February 2017 I finished my CELTA course, both in IH Barcelona. I would recommend IH Barcelona to anyone looking to studying any language teaching related course. The course tutors were involved, helpful and extremely professional. The IT facilities very good and the materials and resources provided (computer room, library, online help,etc.) were excellent. Also the CeltaStars provides ongoing information about job opportunities and online sources for further development. The CELTA course has been hard and very intense, and I thank the school and tutors for their support which has made a big difference.

I loved the Celta course. My main tutors Sam Whiteley and Liz Wooton were excellent role models for teaching and were/are caring, supportive and very professional tutors. I have learnt a great deal and I can see how my teaching has improved as a direct result of the course.

I found the teaching practices very helpful and really key to learn. The fact that the course mixes people with teaching experience with people without it can be a bit stressful for the least experienced, although, of course, it also means that one learns from them, so it is not necessarily a bad thing.
