I have to admit that I used to romanticise the role of DELTA tutors as something more purely “mentor-like,” but now I have a much clearer understanding of just how much work and responsibility it involves. Thank you again for all your guidance and support throughout the course. I particularly appreciated the opportunity to work with two different tutors during Delta Module 2, as it provided a broader perspective and a richer learning experience. Looking back, I think the hybrid format works better than a full-time course. However, there were moments when I felt I needed more time to prepare, and I wondered whether a part-time format might have suited me better. At the same time, sustaining that level of intensity over a longer period would also be challenging, so the hybrid model does feel like a reasonable and effective compromise. Thank you for developing and delivering this format - I’m really glad I had the chance to be part of it.

This was a lifetime experience. The tutors were extremely supportive and helpful. The informative input sessions, accurate assessment of the assignments, and constructive feedback sessions all paved the way for my learning and development.

Overall, I had a great experience here at ITI. The course was intense, and I would advise anyone planning to take this course to be prepared. I had no teaching experience prior to this course, but now I can confidently say that I can teach. The tutors were great, Alyona and Robyn. They were encouraging and excellent teachers. Overall, I would definitely recommend this course at ITI❤️

It was a lovely experience

My experience on the CELTA course was very challenging but extremely valuable. The course pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow both professionally and personally. I became more aware of my strengths and the areas I need to improve. I learned how to plan lessons more effectively, manage time better, and respond to learners’ needs in a more student centred way. But the workload was intense, the support and guidance from the tutors helped me stay focused and motivated. By the end of the course, I felt more confident in the classroom and more aware of how to continue improving as an English teacher.
