The course was intensive, challenging, and highly worthwhile. Over the duration of the course, I made clear progress in several key areas of my teaching, especially staging, grading my language, classroom management, and, most importantly, ensuring that my lessons met their main and sub-aims more effectively. As a result, my lessons became much more student-centred, meaningful, and productive. The course pushed me to reflect critically on my practice and helped me become a more precise, purposeful, and effective teacher.
They were very helpful and supportive throughout the course. The tutors were professional, understanding, and always willing to offer guidance when needed. The learning environment was positive and encouraging, which made it easier to build confidence and improve my teaching skills. Overall, it was a valuable and rewarding experience.
Because I took the online course, I've never visited the location and as a consequence I hold no particular opinion towards it. But the course as a whole has been lovely, and I am both glad to finally receive the result of my efforts and sad to see it all end. It has been a pleasure.
Oversimplified review Tutors great TPs are effective Everything else, modules , course unites heavy assignments are almost too much and ineffective
I have to admit that I used to romanticise the role of DELTA tutors as something more purely “mentor-like,” but now I have a much clearer understanding of just how much work and responsibility it involves. Thank you again for all your guidance and support throughout the course. I particularly appreciated the opportunity to work with two different tutors during Delta Module 2, as it provided a broader perspective and a richer learning experience. Looking back, I think the hybrid format works better than a full-time course. However, there were moments when I felt I needed more time to prepare, and I wondered whether a part-time format might have suited me better. At the same time, sustaining that level of intensity over a longer period would also be challenging, so the hybrid model does feel like a reasonable and effective compromise. Thank you for developing and delivering this format - I’m really glad I had the chance to be part of it.
