We had tutors with different styles (Dave and Lauren), both were excellent, gave thorough teaching, great handouts, and, importantly, a huge amount of their time. Did they have homes to go to? Teaching pracs were well supported, well constructed and thought out feedback, great help and good tips. There is a lot to get through on this course and we were supported all the way. I have attended many courses over many years and this course is great value for money. Thank you Dave and Lauren.

I am so happy I chose to study the CELTA course at LTTC! The course was hard word but very rewarding. The tutors are fantastic- they were available to discuss ideas at the lesson-planning stage and they gave focused and constructive feedback which improved our teaching practice greatly. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone who is serious about a career in EFL teaching.

I am amazed at how much I learnt about ESL teaching practices in such a short space of time. This is due to the quality of the teachers, and the course's expert design and execution. Consummate professionals, Dave and Liz provided trainees with a jam-packed, fulfilling, rewarding, demanding program. Their expectations were high and rightly so. A moment's distraction meant missing something vital! Dave and Liz were able to handle with great diplomacy, kindness and professionalism a wide range of personality types in the classroom. This in itself was a great study of how to handle students. About my experience on the course: the intensity of the study requires students be resilient, focused and strong. A lot of the experience was interestingly about living in the moment, prioritising, and being constantly mindful. The necessity to draw upon deep personal resources under such pressure engenders confidence and is certainly character building. I gained the most from the course by forgetting absolutely everything else for four weeks and giving the study (in school and every single hour out of school) my absolute attention and focus. I surprised myself by what I could do at the end of the program and can't wait to put it into practice. I am very grateful to Dave and Liz for the their many years of experience, and the knowledge, support and advice given so generously throughout the amazing CELTA experience!
