My experience of the course was extremely positive. As I was advised, there was a fair bit of time and performance pressure at times, especially in the middle of the course. One thing I am not sure of – since I have not yet taught in a school – is whether the 40-minute teaching practice is a good reflection of the actual timing of real lessons. Perhaps a little deeper understanding of the theory behind the teaching method could have been included in the Saturdays. But overall, a great experience.

The Celta course was a great experience. I learnt more about teaching English and how to be a better teacher. The tutors were friendly, helpful and gave useful feedback which helped me improve my lessons. I also enjoyed spending time with the other trainees. Thank you!

I couldn't be happier with the CELTA course provided by MTA. Staff were extremely friendly and supportive and provided excellent training/feedback throughout the course. I've already gained employment as an ESL teacher overseas thanks to the skills and qualification I gained with MTA!
