Founded in 2003, The Exam Centre of Ireland Ltd (fondly known as The English Academy) is a Cambridge English Platinum and Teaching Awards Centre. We have been successfully running Cambridge CELTA courses for over a decade now and our experienced tutors have trained literally 1’000s of teachers who have gone on to have wonderfully enriching and successful careers in around the world teaching English as a foreign language.
Dublin, Ireland’s beautiful, lively capital city is on Ireland’s east coast at the mouth of the River Liffey. Very friendly for a large city which boasts rich music, art, culture, and literary history that is still alive today.

I’m pleased to say I passed the CELTA course and would certainly recommend it, as learning from real practice, self-reflection, and tutors' peer observation is very useful. CELTA is, however, only a stepping stone towards further development and experience. Although it is intensive, it only lasts a month and so can only offer ideas and huge knowledge to help us on our professional development long way journey
