I'll surely recommend my friennds taking the Celta course in IH Izmir. Because all the staff,tutors were really helpful from beginning to the end of the course.

It can be a unique experience for every teacher who wants to be updated about teaching. But, do not forget that there's a conflict between what you should do and your assigned time for doing them.So, do not forget that you are facing with an intensive taugh course which is however, enjoyable at the same time.

I am more that satisfied with the course. It was quite detailed and comprehensive. Jamie King is a magnificent instructor. He delivered the course in a very professional and enjoyable manner. I’ll definitely do my DELTA 2 module in Izmir, if Jamie King is among the course tutors this summer.

Everything was just perfect.

In general, I am satisfied with the course. However, I'd like to note some points. The time of our course was at 18.00-21.00, which most of the group memebers didn't like. Taking into considertaion the heat of summer, the evening course is not good for such kind of serious training -DELTA. Though the course was Exam preparetion course, an input on some areas of language was necessary. After we asked our tutor at the end of the 1st week, he gladly helped us with this matter, but I think it should be done from the first day of the training. The tutor was Superrrrrrrrrrrrr. Everybody loved him very much. He is really a wonderful specialist in this area. Thank you very much for making this course.

If you ever decide to take a CELTA course in Turkey, your choice have got to be International House, Izmir.

It was nice and constructive one.

The accommodation and organisation by the school was good. There was a big problem with the IT, internet connection and printers during the course. The input sessions were good overall but there was no schedule so the happened in an ad hoc manner. Some basic information that it would have been really useful to have at the beginning of the course (eg. lesson shapes) didn't happen until the end of the course. Also, we only got the reading list about 2 days before the course began.

The institute was awesome. Thank them a lot.

My trainers were all second to none! Honestly speaking Taking CELTA in ih Izmir was one the best decisions I have made in my life. The only negative thing about this center is the poor Wi-Fi connection that makes you really mad sometimes.

It was a very demanding and intensive course as we expected, but all of the tutors were friendly and they helped us every time every where.

I actually have no comments . Every thing was more than perfect. The tutors were amazing and helpful. the location made us enjoy the study and city itself.

It was the best time of my life

It was an intense and very effective course. The tutors not only taught how to teach but also taught by using the technicques while teaching. The feedback stage was always positively held and helped to improve our management in class. The things we used to know gained a different type of angle. İt was like a journey. Celta gave me a lot. Procedures were so clear tutors were really good . i liked their attitude, everything.. Only assignments were a bit hard because 24 hours werent enough:)) because of resubmissions i felt like i need more time. We had lots of chance to practice. İ could observe others. The tutors were amazing. Billy Hasirci, the Director of Studies, was very supportive and dealth with eveything from the technological problems to the sanity of the participants. I have learnt a lot and for the first time in my life, I felt free to go abroad, you know, not scared. It seems like Celta gave me wings to fly. I learnt about academic things but I also learnt that if you feel that somebody believes in you, you are half way ahead to get to the finish line. Even after the course, I still feel that I have to honour my tutors and their belief in me. It was a lifetime experience and I am very glad to be part of it.

Exhausting but fun

I think it is unnecessary to talk about "positives" because we all plan and work to get "positives". I wish I had something negative to point out so it would be helpful for the future but, I don't know if it is fortunately or unfortunately, I don't.

I had a wonderful time and more importantly, my career has changed for the better since I followed tutors' guidance. I had an important job interview last week at one of the best private high schools in Izmir, and I received such wonderful feedback after one hour teaching practice. I think everybody is doing more than they are being paid for. Everything about our course last four weeks was perfect. Despite what people say to me about doing Celta as I studied ELT 9 years, I am aware of the fact that I’ve had a great experience. I don’t even like the instructor Mss. Seda KIVANC who existed before Celta course.

I really love CELTA and International House. Everything was great. It was an amazing experience for me. It was very tiring, sometimes I felt very exhausted by I learnt a lot. The tutors were wonderful especially Billy Natalia and Jackie. The staff was perfect, Mrs. Fatma, the girls at the reception. Everybody did their best to help us. Yet, the number of the computers and printers could have been more. Because one printer and I think 6 computers were not enough for 36 people. But, I really love this one month. I love you all... It was challenging

Excellent programme, excellent tutors. Can't believe how much I've learned in such a short period of time.

Fantastic experience! I definitely recommend the Celta course at IH Izmir. The tutors Billy and Steve were second to none, very professional and the support was amazing. The only negatives were problems with the computers and wifi tended to cut in and out. Hopefully these problem will be fixed before the next course starts. Other than that the overall experience was amazing!

Celta has been the most rewarding experience in my life. You get some constructive feedback after every Teaching Practise, which has a great role in your improvement as a teacher. The input sessions were interactive and educational, but the written assignments were really challenging. Undisputedly the best part of Celta was our wonderful and supportive tutors Steve & Billy. Overall, I learned a lot about teaching and met some wonderful people during my Celta experience. Thank you all!

Very friendly staff. Our tutors; reflected their passion for teaching and knew exactly how to approach each learner, encouraging, inspiring and motivating us along the way. They're always there whenever you need them. I'm thankful to have had such an amazing group as well. :)

The course was one of the most challenging and demanding things l have gone through in my life but it was well worth it and ironically l have become addicted to it which was thanks to the super helpful and experienced NATIVE tutors the institution's got. I was amazed how devoted the tutors were. The only negative thing l can say about the instution is the location which provides no parking and most of the candidates ended up paying huge amounts of money in total for parking at private residences.

Overall, the course was challenging but rewarding. The tutors were fair and consistent in the grading process and very supportive while preparing for TPs. My only complaint was with the technology problems at the facility--the computers were virus-laden and constantly deleted material we spent hours preparing. That issue should be fixed immediately.

It was very intensive course. It was lots of pressure during the course. Too much things needed to be done in the little time.

I can honestly say that it was the most challenging experience of my life. However, the tutors were great and enabled us all to do our best.

For someone who has been teaching for few years it was a good experience to learn new methods and I hope to apply these techniques in my future classes. It was a challenging course and at the same time so great. Personally I assumed I deserved to get 'Pass B' but I was a little disappointed with my overall grade.
