It was a great experience in the International Language Centre. The tutors were very professional and supportive. The students are very kind and respectful. It was a priceless experience with this centre.

CELTA course was a great experience I'll never forget. Yes, it was hard and daunting at times, but with all the support from our great tutors, Rob and Diana , we managed to do it & I have learned alot from them! The staff was friendly and helpful, They were always there for us. and we had all the facilities we needed. I strongly recommend this center for the course and I wish to come again for more courses in the future.

Great course .. but it would be much better if it was more than 4 weeks..

It was a fruitful course, every thing was well organized. No one hesitate to help. The tutors are really professional and I learned a lot of them. It was the best international experience. It would be my choice for DELTA.

The CELTA itself was stressful but I believe I wouldn't have made it through without my tutors. They were amazing: supportive, konowlegeable and professional. I wish I have taken this course a bit earlier. I could have been a better teacher. Though I learnt many new things.

It was a wonderful experience, and if I had to retake it, I would take it in this center. They were friendly, and they supported us in everything. Moreover, their comments were beneficial, and resubmitting written assignments was not difficult because of their explicit instruction. My favorite part is taking feedback from the tutors because they gave us a detailed record of what we had done, either if it is a good thing or something that we should not do and why. I've got important experience on the course. After finishing it I started to change my approach while face-to-face teaching and I noticed my students are doing noticeably better! Now I understand teaching English as a second language deeper than before. The course was very helpful! Thank you!

The course completely met my expectations. The input sessions were delivered and received successfully. The knowledge and information received is of great use and importance when teaching. I was provided with sufficient guidance and support as fas TPs are concerned. The tasks for written assignments were challenging but interesting and completed with great enthusiasm.

That was a stressful, challenging, demanding but absolutely fantastic experience. The tutors were really helpful and supportive, teaching and guiding patiently and with great respect towards all the CELTA trainees.

The tutors are very supportive throughout CELTA course. It makes a significant difference to the learning process which is quite intensive.

Amazing experience. Like-minded fellow course participants - full of brilliant ideas and always there to help, knowledgeable caring tutors who also happen to be fascinating people, well-equipped center with lots of cozy little corners to hide and study in if you so wish, great coffee everywhere, convenient location. What else? Oh! The weather was fantastic as well. Would do it again.

Good except one or two students can't do the lesson on their phones properly

I have enjoyed the course very much. The tutors have been knowledgeable, supportive and consistently responsive to our needs throughout the course If we have meade any progress I believe we owe that a lot to Anna and Gary's work. The input sessions were informative and interactive. The tutorials were useful and to the point. I am happy with the choice of the CELTA centre and the tutors and I would like to cooperate with them in future.

The course was pretty challenging, but it is really worth it! I am happy to have chosen ILC as the high professionalism of the tutors has met my expectations! We were trained and supported sufficiently to improve our teaching skills every time! I highly recommend ILC!

It was an amazing course, thanks to our awesome tutors Diana Vaselenko and Daryna Luhovska. Yes, it was very challenging and required lots of effort but that's exactly what made it so valuable and beneficial for all of us. We learned from the best role models and purely hands on action, rather than drilling loads of theoretical information which we could read on our own any time. It was a great pleasure doing my CELTA at ILC and I'm very grateful for the acquired knowledge and experience.

Professional tutors, friendly and supportive staff, progressive methodology to satisfy contemporary learners’ needs, deep knowledge of up-to-date teaching approaches and techniques are the key points of the course at ILC.

I loved it and despite my age I am very pleased I was able to participate. I think at times there was not enough time to complete challenges. I believe without the superb support of tutor and team members it would have been impossible. In the real world as an independent teacher I manage my time and work load to also have enough hours to sleep.

The Celta course at ILC was definitely value for money.

It was a great super productive experience, and as full on as it was I can't think of any part of the course that could've been omitted. Each and every input session was priceless and useful, the curriculum was logical and well thought through. Last but not least the tutors, Eleonora and Marina, were highly professional and effective, I was very fortunate to have both of them as trainers. I would definitely recommend ILC to all CELTA candidates.

I am an experienced teacher. The work on elicitation, staging & the different models for the organisation of lessons was very useful. I enjoyed all of the input sessions. It might be an idea to inform students FULLY as to the workload. I have never felt so exhausted, & most of my colleagues worked harder than I did. Also it might be useful to prepare students, even those who are experienced teachers, that performing the staging techniques in the allotted time is vey difficult & stressful [I found the difficulty to achieve this rather disheartening to my confidence; it was something I was unprepared for]. It is hard to explain that although one performs these techniques in a less systematised fashion, undertaking them in the prescribed time [which all of us found virtually impossible] was very stressful indeed [it is really a 6 week course compressed into 4]. One has the experience, because of this, of teaching Ss one feels one does not know, which is vey disconcerting; it was hard to really feel at ease with the Ss [especially the Elementary level Ss]. For this reasons I would have preferred to do 6 one hour lessons. This slightly more relaxed regime would, furthermore, have permitted students to be a bit more creative. However these are criticisms of the central administration of CELTA itself not ILC. The tutors were very good & pleasant; in particular Kateryna knew more about TEFL than anyone I've ever met. The price was extremely competitive, & the organisation of the course was excellent.

In general I can say that the course has exceeded my expectations. I was ready that it would be rather difficult and challenging. However, I didn’t expect it to be so interesting and sometimes even such a fun. I thought the trainees must be ready to rely only on themselves, but we had a lot of support from the tutors and it made our studying more effective and less stressful. The course is realy very helpful and resultant. The centre provided us with all the neccessary equipment, books and materials needed. I liked the idea of having the assessed lessons in the morning and sessions after the lunch. In general I found out a lot of new information and summarised (structured) the existing at that time knowledge.

Everything was great, tutors were really supportive, the atmosphere was challenging but engaging, the experience is unforgettable! Thanks a million!

The course turned out to be a great challenge for me, as I've learnt a lot. The tutors were very caring, helpful and attentive to us. The staff of the agency helped a lot, and learning was a great pleasure, because we did not care about making copies or printing out the materials, we could come early in the morning and leave in the evening and prepare for the TP without any problems. Everything was well-organized and I am very happy about that.

A great course that helped me advance in my professional development.

The course is brilliant. It gives you so much energy and motivation. The most important thing you notice is that this communicative method is absolutely practical and it actually works. The support of the enthusistic tutors you feel daily and they lead you through the whole process of learning. The life after CELTA is much easier and clear because you know how you should act and what you can do being equiped with those techniques implementing them into the real life. The most challenging thing was Guided Discovery as I have never come across it before. This technique is useful and helpful for both - a student and a teacher as it is the best way to show what a great discovery of language learning process is. I am grateful for the support and guidness of our tutors.

The course has been very well organized. The tutors are excellent, helpful and supportive, genuinely interested in our development and happy with our achievements. All the possible aid and support has been provided. As well as giving the best possible support, they also raised the standards for us to develop as teachers and professionals. All in all, excellent course, wonderful tutors.

Excellent tutors, very friendly and professional administration. Honestly the location wasn't that bad - just a metro ride and a five-minute walk. Tutors Kate and Marina were wonderful. Helpful, professional, knowledgeable, employed CELTA techniques in their input sessions. Also a very, very high level of English - I'm a native speaker so I can judge that point.

Syllabus: excellent, useful and meaningful. The course, its arrangement, content, dates, pace, fees, administrative procedures are excellent. Lack of printers and office open hours for printing lesson papers.

It was very useful, practical, experiential learning. I have learnt a lot and plan to use my new skills. The most stressful for me was not even the amount of work, which took much time and efforts, but the lack of rapport with the tutors. They seemed to be somewhat distant. Of course they helped to plan the lessons, but I did not feel free to ask questions and was often stressed of more negative feedbacks than positive from one of the tutors (not for me personally, but for my peers even more) and we were not sure about our success. One of the tutors sometimes interrupted my peers while they were teaching which didn't help much, but was somewhat disorienting. Otherwise, I am happy with the course.

It has been a very productive and inspiring course. The curriculum was intense and quite well-organized. I am very glad I had the opportunity to take the course at IH Kyiv.
