A fantastic course with amazing teachers in a fabulous place!

I learned many useful things on the course. It was intensive but I expected this. Some tutors were very helpful but feedback of some of them was not always constructive. Chiara was the most helpful tutor during the course. It would be a really good idea to have a place to eat which is close to the class room, as it was really intensive course and often during the break we were preparing lessons, printing and copying materials so it was no time to go out to eat and we were often hungry and tired.

This was a great experience and we were supported through the whole process. Considering the length of the course and how many students Stafford House has annually we all still felt like we were treated as individuals and staff got to know us.

The administration and tutors were supportive and always willing to help with the problems one faced during the course.

Whilst it was very hard work, I really enjoyed my four weeks on the Celta course. Our tutors, Kara and Jenny, were fantastic, encouraging us every step of the way and making each day fun. There is a very friendly vibe to Stafford House and the students we were teaching were lovely. I couldn't commend Stafford House more highly as a place to train.

The CELTA course at Stafford House was great... and a lot of fun! I did the 12-week on-line course which was challenging but the tutors were great and supportive as were the other trainee teachers and SH admin staff. I would highly recommend it :)

Doing the CELTA course at Stafford House London has been one of the best things I've done in recent years. It was a great group of people, the tutors were super helpful and the whole staff supportive. It was a really great experience and the tutors were fantastic. The only slight negative thing was sometimes we were lining up to use the computers and copier.

CELTA is definitely an intense course whether it’s done part-time, full-time or online, but completing it in a friendly, constructive and encouraging atmosphere such as The Stafford House is worth it. The tutors were genuinely helpful and insightful with their feedback, and I've gained another life skill that I never thought I would practice. Along with its convenient location in the city, I would highly recommend taking the course at The Stafford House.

Celta is one of the best learning experiences I’ve ever had! It was tough but definitely worth it. The tutors and all Stafford house staff were great – very professional and supportive. The tutors provided a whole range of useful ideas, tools and materials to teach effectively. They gently pushed us with feedback on our teaching practice so we could achieve our best and improve our teaching skills throughout the course. There was a very good balance between the input sessions in the morning and the practical ones in the afternoon. Observing other teachers and peers was a very helpful way to get lots of good ideas that we could put into practice straight away.

The course was pretty much as described, very intense and time-consuming but with inspiring, helpful tutors giving good advice and actually caring for us trainees.

I found that the tutors were very supportive and provided much helpful feedback on my teaching through the lesson practice on the course. The learners were also very enthusiastic about learning English and all of this created a very positive environment in which to learn.

I really enjoyed my experience at Stafford House. I felt that everyone involved with the CELTA course did their absolute best in providing a wonderful and enriching experience.

The experience was great and intense. The course is short and really demanding, but as the course progresses you will see the improvement and all the hard work will pay off.

this was a great experience and very intense. I learned a lot from the tutors and the experience.However, I do not think that we got enough support from the school. we should have had access to books and materials to take it home with us. we should have had a proper training with the white board and always have pens and board on the classrooms.

Overall the course was interesting, we were guided very well by our tutors and I learnt a lot across the three months. Safe to say it has set me up for a teaching job, especially teaching methodologies and gaining experience in a classroom. I thoroughly enjoyed myself despite the long hours and intensity of the course. I met some lovely people and look forward to teaching in the future.

Really cool staff and helped me as a Native speaker who took grammar for granted. :) Central location, lovely building and facilities. Learn’t so much and grew in confidence. Highly recommend.

Although it was intense and tough I really enjoyed doing my CELTA at Stafford House and thought that the tutors were all very helpful and understanding, without them I would not have been able to pass. Thank you!

The staff were very helpful. The tutors gave up a lot of their free time to ensure that we were supported and they always pushed us to do better.

A well-organised and planned out course with excellent tutors who were supportive and always happy to help and give advise. Facility available to students is good but a little compact. Could also be improved with more computers.

I think like any other CELTA course, the part-time CELTA is just as intense. However you are fully supported and encouraged by the tutors throughout. The help, support and guidance given, made it all worth while!

I got so much more out of the course than I expected and the tutors were so passionate, knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend anyone applying for a CELTA to do it at Stafford House and I can't imagine another provider would offer such engaging and useful workshops and teaching practice feedback.

what I like about the course is that it teaches practically how you need to teach English to the people whose first language is not English. Methodologies and techniques were very insightful.

It was stressful at times but also time well-spent. Lots of hands-on practice and constructive feedback from tutors. I'm glad I did it.

CELTA at Stafford House was a great experience . I don't think I have ever learnt this much about teaching and about myself in just 4 weeks. It was definitely a (very) intensive course and a lot of information to take in, but it was worth it on so many levels. From the other trainees to the tutors and staff at Stafford House, all the way to the students we taught over those 4 weeks- everyone was such a great help throughout this experience.

Exhausting but very fun

Overall CELTA has been a good experience for me, I appreciated all the efforts and hard work the teachers put in to the course.

Through this course I have learned an enormous amount of information and gained confidence with a number of practical skills over a very short period of time. I was challenged everyday and pushed to learn at an incredibly fast rate by my excellent tutors who always made me feel supported even while they were throwing me in at the deep end. Overall I'm thrilled with the experience and I would definitely recommend the school to anyone looking to get CELTA qualified.

The tutors were excellent, always modelling effective teaching techniques during the input sessions and providing us with valuable feedback after each teaching practice session. Great tutors and location. Bathrooms were a bit tight and sometimes dirty. Apart from that, no complaints! I would definitely recommend Stafford House!

I would, without a doubt, recommend this course to anybody thinking about qualifying as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language, particularly the part time course. I now have the confidence and the ability to go out and teach around the world.

Taking part in the CELTA course was a wonderful experience, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The work is intensive and demanding but the satisfaction on completing the course is very rewarding. The Tutors were excellent, they made the course come to life and I felt that I learnt so much during my time with them. Everyone was helpful, supportive and committed to deliver the highest standard of training to all the students taking part.

Very professional tutors that were good at identifying weak points and pushing for improvements. Extremely dedicated and focused on our development.

My time on the course was invaluable to me both as an EFL teacher and for my teaching skills in general. The tutors were brilliant and efficient and their advice and criticisms from the very beginning propelled me to achieve excellent lesson plans and confident delivery in ways I wouldn't have imagined in the beginning of the course.
