CELTA, the most recognised teaching Certficate in TEFL : We now offer a choice of sites in France where you can take your CELTA in a variety of formats. If you're confident you can pass your CELTA with the classic 4-week intensive course, then check out our city sites in Strasbourg and Lyon. If you'd rather take that bit longer and enjoy a beautiful, rural setting, then why not do the five-week course at our Brittany site by the sea?

• We are regularly solicited by employers both locally and internationally asking for CELTA graduates. We have an organic relationship with many medium and large sized language companies who trust the quality of CELTA graduates we send them.
• We are part of the Chamber of Commerce network in France which has the second biggest turnover in English Language teaching in the country. Thanks to the fact that you do your CELTA with us, we can recommend you to any Chamber of Commerce in France.
• Thanks to our national reach, and our involvement in teacher training initiatives throughout the country, we have a very large database of language schools throughout France. We know who's doing well, who's employing at the moment, and additionally, we often personally know the owner of the school.
• Not only do we help you get started but we also help you deal with administrative issues that might arise in your first job. We're happy to help you handle the paperwork with your first employer so as to ensure you find your feet.
We always help with accommodation and we have a wide network of homestay options available at all our locations, plus some self-contained appartments. In Brittany we rent entire manor houses for candidates to stay in as we think this is part of the pleasure of being somewhere so beautiful!
We fully refund course fees if there is a cancellation more than four weeks before a course starts. We are sometimes able to refund within the four weeks before a course starts if we are able to find someone else to take your place on the course.

It was jolly hard work, emotionally, physically and mentally but at the same time a really wonderful experience.
The 4 week CELTA course was an enriching and unique experience. I've grown as an individual and have become more confident in my teaching abilities. The pace of work is intense but the joy, the intellectual and creative stimulations experienced are worth the fatigue and stress. I thank my tutors for their advice, patience and support.
The course was very intensive (but we had been warned beforehand). It corresponded to my needs and expectations. The support of the other students in my tutor group, was extremely important and helped to carry me through the course.
It was an amazing experience, a mixed group of people of different nationalities and cultures that gathered together to learn and exchange their experience. The tutors were so helpful they are ready to give all and everything in order to keep you on the track. Thank you ELT Hub.

Intensely satisfying. The peer and tutor support was priceless. It's a huge confidence boost to have achieved the Delta, and without the 3 x 9 day format offerered at Strasbourg, it wouldn't have been possible to fit it into a normal working life.
The course tutors were all excellent, exceptionally supportive and well organised. Without their guidance, the CELTA course could have been an insurmountable task, but they kept everyone on the right track all the way from start to finish. I can't commend them highly enough!
This course was really worth all the money and I can highly recommend it to anyone interested in teaching English. I had some teaching experience before but the course reshaped my thinking about ELT on many levels. I appreciate a perfect blend of theory and practice. The input sessions were helpful in my development as an English teacher. Overall, I am very happy that I chose ESOL Strasbourg for my CELTA course since I had the opportunity to work with talented and highly experienced instructors and supportive peer teachers. Both Neil and Jane were very supportive, encouraging. They gave us not only constructive criticism after our teaching practice, but also they were always very friendly and approachable if we had any problems and questions.
A great place to do a Celta course- Strasbourg offers a great mix of French and German culture :-). The course tutors are excellent and really have a passion for the subject. I learnt so much during the course and would definitely recommend the centre for anyone interested in tesol or teaching in general.
The course was organised extremely well in order to provide support and aid at all times. The right resources were always available and the tutors were on hand to help with any queries. It was an incredibly positive experience for me and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the course to anyone looking to work as an English Language Teacher.
The course is very well organised and managed effectively by the course tutors who, thankfully, realise how difficult the course is and do all they can to help you get through it. The tutors criticism is constructive and to the point allowing you to understand where you went wrong and how to fix it. I would strongly recommend doing the celta course with ESOL Strasbourg to anyone.
I had a great experience doing the CELTA at ESOL Strasbourg. I'm very happy with my choice of schools. The administrators responded quickly and professionally when I needed to change accomodations at the last minute. The tutors were properly critical of my performance when needed but also very supportive when I needed encouragement. I don't think I could have done any better or learned more elsewhere. Everything I needed to finish the CELTA successfully, I found at ESOL Strasbourg. I don't really have any complaints worth noting. I'm sure there are better schools out there but Strasbourg is a very good option.
I am very glad that I attended the course in that school. The tutors were great, helpful and supportive. It was the experience of a lifetime for me!!! Thank you very much!!!
All in all it was a good because it allowed me to build self-confidence and thus develop my teaching ability. I enjoyed giving classes to students with different level of English and appreciated the tutors' support. I have learned a teaching method that can be applied in any school and to all ages which is the most important feature of the course. However, four weeks of course is very intensive and I think that adding one more week to it would be more effective to develop the autonomy in teaching.
A great experience, one which Im very happy I had
I applied with a limited view of CELTA but after taking the four week course and experiencing the caliber of teaching and students that it attracts from all over the globe, from strong and relevant academic and career and professional backgrounds I can only highly praise the course. I am also impressed how it is so practical and focused on securing employment at the end of the course. I am also confident that I can continue to contact the tutors for some help and guidance along the way. They could not do enough for their students. Thank you for delivering such a solid and practical course.

It was a very demanding course but very fulfilling. The centre has excellent facilities and is a great environment for learning. I would highly recommend taking the CELTA course in Strasbourg.
It's a great learning experience.
It's been a very challenging four weeks, but in the end it really is worth it. Peer students were very helpful, the feedback on your lessons helped a lot, since it is only constructive criticism and not at all judge mental! I'm glad and proud that I did it!
